Homework

Every week there will be a MyMaths task (logins in reading record) and children will be expected to read 3 times (with a comment from the child) a week, accompanied with a parent / carer signature.

Youth Engagement   

We’re delighted to welcome a local police officer into school to meet with our Year 5 pupils as part of our ongoing work around youth engagement and community safety.

The visits will take place half-termly, giving pupils regular opportunities to meet with a member of their local police team, learn more about the role of the police in our community, and ask questions in a friendly and informal setting.

These sessions will also support our children to understand how they can make positive choices, stay safe and build positive relationships with the adults and services in their local community.

We look forward to developing this positive relationship over the coming year and providing our Year 5 pupils with regular opportunities to engage, learn and connect with their local community.
