Minibus Hire
In April 2023 we were lucky enough to be donated a minibus by St Brannock's Church, Braunton with St Anne's Chapel, Saunton for use by our school, other schools with our Trust and non-profit local community groups. The minibus is available for hire for a small cost (which covers our running costs - insurance, tax, servicing and repairs etc).
The hire of the minibus will be charged at £1.50 exc. VAT per mile. (The fuel tank will be full when the hire starts. The minibus should be returned to us with a full tank.) If the minibus is not returned full, we will charge you for fuel at 0.4 litres per mile, at a cost of £1.69 per litre (average for Devon as per https://www.fleetnews.co.uk/costs/fuel-prices/) plus £20 admin charge.
The driver must be over 30 years of age and hold a full, clean driving licence (for over two years) with Category D1 (copy to be provided) - or have received driver training (and are able to provide a copy of their certificate) which qualifies them to drive a Minibus - Lite.
Due to Insurance restrictions, we are unable to hire our minibus to individuals for private purposes. We can hire to non-profit making organisations.

To apply for the Permit 19 you need to complete this form: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/646f6c8a24315700136f4291/230525_PSV372_Section_19_Permit_Application_Form.pdf and submit it to Permits@otc.gov.uk. This process can take between 8 and 10 weeks.
