Barnstaple Museum trip 10/3/26

On Tuesday, the children had an exciting History trip to Barnstaple Museum to learn more about our current topic, The Romans. They learnt lots about their impact in North Devon and how their lives changed under their rule. The children had the chance to handle and explore different artefacts - some that were even from 2,000 years ago! As you can see, they loved trying on some of the costume replicas! The second part of the workshop, they were able to explore the museum and write up some of the facts they found out. All of the children showed fantastic behaviour and really immersed themselves into the experience.

Year 3 Barnstaple Museum trip

Hakeford Forest Trip 15/10/25

On Wednesday, the children had the opportunity to visit Hakeford Woods and take part in a range of Stone Age-themed activities, which linked to their current History topic. They had the most fantastic time and seeing how excited and engaged they were throughout the day was such a joy! They listened and participated very well and even got to take home their own homemade stone axe! Take a look at some of the pictures captured from the day.
